LOS Organized a CME on “Advances in Cataract & Glaucoma”

Ludhiana Ophthalmological Society organized a National Level CME on ‘Advances in Cataract & Glaucoma’. The Conference was well attended with over 200 registrations from all over India. There were various speakers from all over India who are stalwarts in their respective fields. Dr Ramamurthy from the Eye Foundation, Dr Prashant Bawankule from Nagpur, Dr Sandeep from Lilavati Hospital Mumbai, Dr Suresh Kumar Gupta from Sec. 32 Chandigarh were few of the eminent speakers.

“Cataract & Glaucoma are two most commonly seen diseases by the eye surgeons and we felt the need to discuss and make the delegates aware regarding recent advances in these fields”, said Dr. Brijinder Singh Rana, organizing secretary of the conference.

Preoperative and Postoperative protocols were discussed by the speakers. IOL calculation was discussed by Dr. Thind an eminent speaker from Jalandhar.

Dr Dinesh Garg, President of Punjab Ophthalmological Society welcomed all the delegates. Dr. G.S. Dhami, Dr Sukhjeevan Kakkar, Dr Nitin Batra, Dr Neeraj Arora, Dr Ravinder Malhi and Dr. Manoj Gupta are all office bearers of the LOS and worked tirelessly towards making this CME a success.
